Everything you need to know before your first request

Yes. For home services like cleaning, plumbing, and painting, choose 'Today' to schedule for a specific time today, or 'Flexible' to pick any future date and time. Your request is saved and automatically sent to available providers at your scheduled time. ASAP requests are dispatched immediately and ping nearby providers right away.

Yes. For all home service types, you enter the amount you are willing to pay. Tuima shows nearby providers your offer as a live job request. You can edit your price at any time from the Bookings tab in the app.

Tuima offers 5 ride packages to suit every need and budget: Regular (standard vehicle, up to 4 passengers), Lux Sedan (premium sedan, leather seats, up to 4), Lux SUV (premium SUV, up to 6 passengers), Lux Van (premium minivan, up to 8 passengers), and Lux Bus (luxury coach, up to 20 passengers β€” ideal for events and corporate travel). If no driver is available for your chosen package, Tuima automatically suggests the next available package level.

Ghana / Nigeria / Uganda / Kenya / Africa: You are charged after your trip or service is complete. A payment screen appears for you to confirm. United States: A temporary authorization hold is placed on your card when you request. This converts to the final charge automatically when the trip completes. If you cancel before being matched, the hold is voided immediately.

Yes. After every completed trip or service, choose from 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, a custom amount, or No Tip. 100% of all tips go directly to your provider β€” Tuima takes nothing from tips.

If you cancel after a driver has been matched and has waited past the free grace period, a small cancellation fee applies. This compensates the provider for their time. Tuima always shows you a warning before applying any fee. No fee applies if you cancel before a driver is assigned.

Yes. When your driver or provider arrives, a free grace period begins (approximately 2 minutes). After the grace period, a small waiting fee applies per minute. If you do not arrive within 4 minutes total, the provider may cancel and a cancellation fee applies. This policy ensures providers are fairly compensated for their time.

During an active trip, tap the Safety button on the trip screen, then Share Trip Status. This generates a message with your driver's name, vehicle details, license plate, and destination that you can share via WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging app on your phone.

Tap the red Safety shield button on your active trip screen at any time. You can immediately call emergency services, report a safety issue to Tuima, or share your live trip status with a trusted contact. Tuima reviews all safety reports within 24 hours.

Tap the Bookings tab in the app. You will see All, Active, Completed, and Cancelled tabs. Tap any booking to see full details including the provider, route, fare, tip, and completion photos for home services. You can also re-request the same service directly from your history.

Everything you need to know before your first job

Toggle Online on your Provider Dashboard. When a customer posts a job near you that matches your services, your phone vibrates and displays a notification card with the job details. You have 40–60 seconds to review and respond. If you do not respond in time, the job moves to your Radar tab where you can still accept it later.

The Radar shows all job requests that were not accepted during the live notification window. These are jobs still waiting for a provider. You can review and accept radar jobs at any time. Once a job is accepted by another provider it disappears from everyone's radar automatically. A red badge on the Radar tab shows how many jobs are currently available.

Yes. During signup and in your Account settings, you can select multiple service categories matching your skills. For vehicle services, you can enable multiple vehicle packages (Regular, Lux Sedan, Lux SUV etc) that your vehicle qualifies for. You must have at least one package enabled at all times.

For home services (cleaning, painting, plumbing etc), tap Complete Job on your active job screen. You will be prompted to take up to 3 photos of the completed work as evidence, confirm your GPS location at the job site, and ask the customer for consent regarding photo storage. Photos are automatically deleted after 3 days unless the customer consents to longer storage. This protects both you and the customer in case of any dispute.

The completion photos you upload serve as evidence that the job was done. Tuima's support team reviews disputes using these photos, the job description, customer feedback, and your GPS data at the job site. Maintaining photographic evidence of your completed work is the best way to protect yourself in any dispute.

Restart the app immediately. Your active job will still be shown when you reopen β€” all job data is saved in real time to Tuima's servers. If you cannot reconnect, call the customer directly using the phone number shown in your job details.

After every completed job, the customer rates you from 1 to 5 stars and leaves an optional comment. Your rating is a rolling average of your completed jobs. Ratings below 3.0 stars may result in a quality review. Consistently high ratings unlock priority placement in search results and more job opportunities from the matching algorithm.

If a customer skips the rating screen, you automatically receive 5 stars for that job. This protects your rating from customers who forget to rate. All automatic ratings are clearly marked in your rating history.

Go to Account β†’ My Vehicle Packages to update the packages you offer. Go to Account β†’ Edit Profile to update your vehicle make, model, color, and license plate. Changes to vehicle details may require re-verification of your driver's license before taking effect.

How Earnings Work

Everything you need to know before you start

Once a job is completed and the customer confirms, your earnings are added to your Tuima balance immediately. You can withdraw to your Mobile Money account (Africa), bank account via Stripe (US), or local payment method (South America) at any time. No minimum balance required.

You choose your payout schedule. Weekly payouts are free and processed every Monday. Instant payouts are available anytime for a small processing fee. There is no limit on how many times you can withdraw per month.

Tuima charges a 20% platform fee on each completed job. You keep 80% of every fare or job price. Tips are 100% yours β€” Tuima takes nothing from tips. There are no signup fees, monthly fees, or hidden charges. You only pay when you earn.
